How to connect your E13ulp to new a wireless pushbuttton

 To connect your E13ulp to a new wireless Text-To-Speech (TTS) pushbutton, you will require:

 

     The E13ulp display, connected to batteries

 

               

 

     The wireless pushbutton you intend to pair with the display

 

        

     A magnet

     The Button Unlocking Tool (Orange Wireless Pushbutton)

 

          

 

Major Steps: 

  1. Disconnect existing TTS button (wireless pushbutton) from the display.

  2. Connect new TTS button to the display

 

 

Things to Note: 

Each E13ulp sigange can only be connected to one pushbutton at a time. On the other hand, a pushbutton can be connected to multiple E13ulp displays.

 

 

Detailed Instructions: 

     Swipe the magnet over the front of the e-paper module, until the screen flashes

     Wait for the screen to show Device Information as below:

 

            

     Keep pressing the button on the Button Unlocking Tool (orange wireless pushbutton)

         

 

     Disconnecting the existing TTS button is successful when you see the "Press Speaker Button" message on the display. When the screen appears as below, the E13ulp display is ready to make connection with a new TTS display

 

 

     Now, press the button of the new TTS-button (wireless pushbutton) you wish to connect to the E13ulp display

 

          

     You've succesfully connected the new TTS-button when you see the Button ID on the display

 

  

 

     Following a succesful connection, the E13ulp display will also show the software version, Display ID, battery status and the Button ID.

     After a successful reboot, the display will start to show real-time public information again.
